Red Hot Sale Alert:’s Summer Clearance Sale is having their first ever summer clearance sale.  Through taking advantage of this offer, I purchased three pairs of shoes for the price of one normally priced shoe: $39.99.

If you haven’t heard of the site, JustFab “is an online boutique based out of LA that focuses on women’s fashions. ”  I have been a member for a little over a year now and have purchased their shoes and handbags with surpassed expectations.

When becoming a member of the site, they give you personalized selections from their professional stylists.  With tons of style options to choose from, having someone else cater to your tastes brings a lot of the stress out of shopping.

When stealing purchasing your shoes, keep in mind that Fall is right around the corner.

I opted for boots and closed toe shoes, but if you’re in a warmer climate- feel free to indulge in peep- or open-toed shoes.

Rihanna’s Right Now Kitten Remix

Some of you may  not know this, but I enjoy editing videos in my spare time.

Yesterday, I had a lot of spare time:

Rihanna’s Right Now featuring David Guetta was remixed by DJ Frust.  I pieced together footage of my 7-week-old kitten playing with a rave stick (which she loves) and played the music in the background.

Now before I go, let’s view some Rihanna Cat-Related Photos!

Friday Night Fright: House At The End Of The Street

House At The End Of The Street has a plot you won’t figure out until the very end.  Literally the very last scene explains the story.  Even the subplots are not revealed until this very last scene.

The story is a simple one: Girl (Jennifer Lawrence) meets Wrong-Side-Of-The Tracks Boy-Next-Door whose family just happened to be hammered to death by the younger sister.  Not the best luck, huh?  Good thing Jennifer moves in next door.

Jen just finds him charming, mysterious, and sexy with his misunderstood boy pout.

max-thieriot-as-ryan-in-house-at-the-endSo dreamy.

If you need a more in-depth run-down, check out the trailer:

Now, I’m a fan of actors who can bring poorly written dialogue to life.  I’m a fan of surprise, suspense, and adrenaline.  I’m also  a huge fan of woodland-based horror films.    So, let’s bring the film to the scales and see how it weighed out!

Scare Factor: 7/10

Not many Jump-Out-Of-Your-Seat scenes, but the suspense and adrenaline kept me hooked.

Plot Line: 10/10

Kept me guessing and I was always wrong.  I’ve seen a lot of horror films, but House At The End Of The Street made me a fool.  I’m serious.  You really won’t know everything until the very last scene.

Actor’s Acting Abilities: 8/10

They did the best they could with what they were given.  I don’t know if the writers observed anyone in High School or College before they wrote the script, but it sure doesn’t seem like it.  However, the actors did their job and kept me tuned in.

Overall Score:  25/30, 83%, B

Genius for a horror film you can get off of Netflix.  Watch it now.

Catfish Season 2: Episode 5: Dorion & Jeszica

For those of you who aren’t aware: Catfish is a television show of Guess Who game online.

It’s always a gamble when you’re talking to someone online and if you haven’t even met the person on the other end: you could be in for one hell of a surprise.

This week’s episode introduces Dorion, a man with a girlfriend who knowingly accepts that he is in love with a mysterious woman he met online who has a kid.

In her defense, “Jeszica” is beautiful…

“Jeszica” is a hardworking single mother, student, and is pursuing modeling.  She is the wind beneath Dorion’s wings.

However, there is one problem for Dorion… besides the fact that he’s never met “Jeszica”…

Dorion has his girlfriend that he lives with.  Raffinee.

They love each other.

Dorion is aware he does not know who he’s talking to.

And the woman in the images is one of the most copied in terms of fake profiles.

So the odds are not in Dorion’s favor…  but he and his live-in girlfriend, Raffinee, want him to be happy.

Nev and Max to the rescue with their Google Image Searches!

All of the pair’s work brought this mystery to a close.  The real “Jeszica” turned out to be Alexis.

A beautiful, seemingly normal, down-to-earth chick.

Which left Dorion two options to choose from!

In the end, Dorion chooses to stay with his girlfriend!

Let’s just hope it’s not only because all of his stuff is already at her place.

Food Review: Dunkin’ Donuts Seasonal Lemonade Donut

On my morning commute, I always strive to make a stop at Dunkin’ Donuts.  Why?  Because it’s so delicious and cheap.

I don’t know if any of you have seen the latest advertisements, but this donut on the left is amazing:

1370620404579It’s the Lemonade Donut and it’s a majestic unicorn of a donut.

Imagine a jelly donut filled with lemon meringue with that soft, soft donut dough cradling that creamy, lemon flavored filling.  My God.

And then slather icing and add little bits of lemony soft candies on top.

Then it all explodes in your mouth, creating a glorious impact that your mouth can barely handle so early in the morning.

That’s the way to start off a sweet day right.

Warning: limit yourself to one before you turn into Homer Simpson.

Drink Review: Mike’s Hard Frozen Strawberry Lemonade

Screen-Shot-2013-05-30-at-10.49.00-AM-700x439Focus your attention on the right, however I’m sure the Classic Margarita is just as good.

Mike’s Hard Frozen Strawberry Lemonade is delicious.  You wouldn’t expect something so good from a pouch, but look at Caprisun!

Mike’s Hard has really outdone themselves with this one.  Be sure to pop it in the freezer immediately before drinking anything else.  Or else you will forget.  For reasons.

Following the freezing time, you get to squeeze for your drink’s crushedness.  I’m all about minimal work for maximum reward.

If you’re a lazy drinker like me, you can even drink your beverage straight from the bag…

Because nothing screams class like drinking from a frozen pouch.

I give this product two thumbs up and my stamp of approval.

Must See TV: Netflix’s Orange is the New Black

For those of you who haven’t seen the trailer:

If that hasn’t sold you yet, let me give you some insights.

A female prison setting provides one of the greatest, most in-depth insights into the female psyche.

Now, don’t think I’m selling the psychological make-up of women short.  I believe we are some of the most complex creatures and the basic setting of a prison ward breaks everything down to the most basic barrings a woman has.

The series proves that no matter where a woman is, their heart, soul, and very existence relies on the same principles:

  1. Love.  We want it, we need it.  We need to feel supported and beautiful and wanted.  Without love, we are left vulnerable and easily broken.  Best trick of the trade  in this setting (If you don’t want to become someone’s bitch): You have the right to remain silent.
  2. Family.  Without family, we are left to fend for ourselves.  The show proves, however, that a family does not have to be blood-ties.  You can make your own family if one has not been already provided for you.
  3. Understanding.  Everyone has a desire to be understood.  This brings respect and respect brings survival.

If a woman is scorned through any of these items, they can hold a grudge until the grave or they settle the score… which can land them in the New Black: Orange.

Now, Get to watching.
